Over 70 construction industry leaders recently attended a regional meeting of the Alabama – Associated Builders and Contractors at Skilled Trades of West Alabama in March. Attendees were provided updates on a wide range of current topics for the industry including safety, new generation employees, legislative issues, legal topics and other relevant information.
Mayor Walt Maddox of Tuscaloosa brought the audience up-to-date on the many new, planned and ongoing construction projects in the city, and Mr. Tim Lepoard of the University of Alabama gave a status report on all of the projects on campus.
